These were the results before and after filtering the pond water with Apple peel.

3.5 Special observations

The water became slightly cloudier after filtering it through the fruit peel. Clarity of the water has been compromised despite fruit peel being able to be filter contaminants in the water. Furthermore, mould was found growing in the set-up. This, therefore means that the fruit peel must be preserved before being used to filter contaminated water
